September 16, 2017 Nabi, Gladney Have Career Days as Ithaca Tops St. Lawrence, 24-13 CANTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football program defeated St. Lawrence University, 24-13, on Saturday at Leckonby Stadium in the Liberty League opener for both teams. The victory is the first of the season for the Bombers, as well as the first victory for head coach Dan Swanstrom on South Hill.
September 15, 2017 Ithaca Heads to St. Lawrence for Liberty League Opener on Saturday ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football program opens up Liberty League competition on Saturday at 1 p.m. as the Bombers travel to the North Country to take on St. Lawrence University at Leckonby Stadium in Canton, N.Y. Ithaca looks to get in the win column for the first time this season and also extend its 22-game winning streak over the Saints, who are 1-1 in 2017.
September 2, 2017 Ithaca Comes Up Just Short to No. 21 Alfred, 20-17, In Season Opener ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team gave No. 21 Alfred University all it could handle in the 2017 season opener for both programs at Butterfield Stadium on Saturday, but the Saxons were able to battle back and hold on to win a 20-17 non-conference contest. With the loss, Ithaca starts a season 0-1 for the first time in 20 years.
July 9, 2017 New York conferences start postseason bowl The Empire 8 and Liberty League won't be sending their top at-large teams to the ECAC postseason bowl games, rather, they'll square off in a New York State bowl game this November.
