November 11, 2017 The Jug Returns to South Hill; Ithaca Drops Cortland, 48-20 ITHACA, N.Y. – After a seven-year drought, the Jugs are coming back to South Hill as the Ithaca College football team defeated Cortland, 48-20, in the 59th Cortaca Jug Game at Butterfield Stadium on Saturday. Ithaca now leads the all-time Jug series, 35-24, and the overall matchup against the Red Dragons, 40-33-3.

With the win, Ithaca snapped Union’s seven-game winning streak and extends its own head-to-head matchup in wins over the Dutchmen to eight in a row. Saturday’s contest has first place implications on the line and is the final conference game of the season for the Bombers. Ithaca brings a 5-3 mark to Butterfield Stadium and a 3-1 ledger in league play, while Union is 7-1 and a perfect 3-0 in the Liberty League.
October 28, 2017 Ithaca Defense Pitches Shutout, Offense Racks up 231 Rushing Yards in 14-0 Win at Utica UTICA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College football team rushed for 231 yards and the defense secured its first shutout of the season as the Bombers topped Utica College, 14-0, on Saturday at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium. The 231 yards rushing is the most for a Bombers offense since IC racked up 253 against Alfred in 2015. Ithaca’s main culprit in both offensive explosions, senior Tristan Brown, ran for 144 yards this afternoon and tallied a career-best 176 two seasons ago.
