Offense

QB Dan Griffin, Sr., Salisbury
Griffin ran for ran for a career-high five touchdowns and a season-high 137 yards as No. 16 Salisbury defeated Utica, 63-23, to claim the Empire 8's automatic bid. He also threw for 47 yards. He had TDs of 2, 56 (a team season long), 4, 2 and 1 yard, respectively. He ran 17 times for 8.1 yards per carry.

OL Andrew McManus, De'Quan Murray, Joe Grieci, Jim Whitlow, Nick Vanoudenhove, Western New England
The line helped Golden Bears achieve a season-high 267 yards on the ground, 94 yards above its average, with 4.7 yards per carry. Kevin Cook rushed for 125 yards for his fifth 100-yard game in 2012. Also, gave QB John Krafick time to complete 16 passes without being sacked in a 38-12 win against Mass-Dartmouth.

RB Luke Heinsohn, Sr., Washington and Lee
Heinsohn led Washington and Lee to a 45-42 four-overtime win over Hampden-Sydey that gave the Generals the ODAC title. He rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns on 35 carries, then also kicked the game-winning field goal and four extra points. He also ran in a two-point conversion for a school-record total of 33 points.

RB Matthew Biggers, Jr., La Verne
Biggers rushed for a single-game school record 304 yards while adding three touchdowns against No. 8 Cal Lutheran to exceed the 1,000-yard mark for the season. The junior scored from 63, 13 and 14 yards out against the Kingsmen.

WR Robin Witjes, Sr., Oberlin
Witjes caught touchdown passes that went for 66 yards and 52 yards as he hauled in seven catches for 165 yards in the Yeomen's 31-16 upset win of No. 10 Wabash. He also threw a 50-yard touchdown pass in the win.

WR D'Mario Parker, Sr., Louisiana College
Parker had a tremendous outing in Saturday's 70-28 victory over rival Mississippi College, setting an American Southwest Conference record for yards per catch (43.6 ypc) in his six-catch, 261-yard, three-touchdown afternoon. Parker scored on touchdown receptions of 54, 64, and 76 yards before leaving the game with 24 minutes remaining. 

TE Billy Chapman, Sr., Middlebury
Chapman caught eight passes for 94 yards including the opening score during a 50-21 win over Hamilton in a rivalry Rocking Chair game on Saturday. The score was a 34-yard catch and run, avoiding tacklers after the catch and slipping past a pair of defenders at the goal line.

Defense

DE Ben Lockton, Sr., Benedictine
Lockton helped lead Benedictine to a win by leading the team in tackles and accounting for all three turnovers. He totaled 12 tackles, including three an a half for loss while recovering two fumbles, breaking up a pass, and returning an interception 36 yards on a deflected pass from the defensive line.

DT Ayo Idowu, Sr., St. Thomas
Idowu had three tackles for loss, including a huge fourth-down sack deep in UST territory, and 10 overall tackles (seven solo) in St. Thomas' 21-7 road win over No. 17-ranked Concordia. The Cobbers, averaging 38 points per game, were held to their lowest point total in 25 agmes.

DT Jared Pattinson, Sr., Delaware Valley
Pattinson celebrated the Aggies' Senior Day with a seven-tackle performance, three solo. He had two and a half tackles for loss, all of them sacks, as Delaware Valley held Wilkes to 185 total yards.

DE Kurt Frischman, Jr., Illinois College
Frischman tallied seven tackles, including three and a half for losses totaling 24 yards. Two of those were sacks. Frischman also recorded two passes broken up, one forced fumble and a quarterback hurry.

LB Javicz Jones, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Jones became the American Southwest Conference player to return two interceptions for touchdowns in the same game. His 92-yard return was also the longest in school history. Jones added 13 tackles to become the ASC career leader with 416 stops. He posted a sack, a forced fumble, a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery in a dominating performance to help the Cru clinch a postseason berth.

LB Pat Dansdill, Sr., Wheaton (Ill.)
Dansdill led all players with 10 solo tackles in a win against North Central. He also recovered a fumble and returned it 72 yards four a touchdown to increase Wheaton's lead to 35-14 and securing the victory.

LB Alex Taylor, Jr., Thomas More
Taylor anchored the Saints' defense that held Bethany to 265 yards of total offense, including 104 on the ground in their 13-10 overtime victory. He finished the game with 15 tackles (eight solo), two intercetpions and a sack.

CB Brian Garvey, Jr., Ithaca
Garvey tied a school record with three interceptions in Ithaca's win over Hartwick. It was part of a big day for the Bomber defense as the team totaled six interceptions overall, which also tied a school record. Garvey returned one of the interceptions for a touchdown and made eight tackles.

S Justin Suddeth, Sr., Heidelberg
Suddeth played an instrumental role in the secondary that kept John Carroll's Mark Myers (averaging 346 yards) to 228 yards passing and 48 percent completions. He had seven tackles, five solo, an interception and forced a fumble in the win.

S Frank Martin, Sr., UW-Oshkosh
Martin intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown, to help UW-Oshkosh defeat UW-Stevens Point, 56-31. Martin recorded both of his interceptions in the second quarter. In the last minute of the period, Martin grabbed an interception in the middle of the field. He then rumbled down the sideline 28 yards for a touchdown to give the Titans a 55-10 lead. 

CB Tyquion Ballard, So., Whittier
Ballard registered 10 total tackles, seven solo, and had two takeaways as Whittier took "The Shoes" back from Occidental for the first time in five years, defeating the Tigers 61-30. He forced a fumble and had an interception.

Special teams

K Tyler Hunt, Fr., Guilford
Hunt kicked a school-record tying three field goals in Guilford's 24-10 win over Catholic, including a career-long 41-yarder, Guilford's longest since 2006, as well as kicks of 30 and 19 yards.

P Dana Obery, Sr., Wooster
With only a slight breeze behind him, Obery broke a school record with a 77-yard punt on his first attempt of the day, then added a 66-yarder later in the first quarter, and averaged 45.2 yards over eight attempts (40.2 net on the day). Making his day all the more impressive, two snaps went over his head. The first one he collected 10-15 yards behind where he had been standing and managed a 31-yard punt that was downed, and the second he helped induce a roughing-the-kicker penalty into a first down.

RET Graham Asum, Sr., Worcester State
Asum tied the NCAA Division III record with two kickoff returns for 94 yards in a 65-21 setback to Framingham State. He also brought back eight returns for 333 yards to reset the national single-game record.
