November 14, 2019 Ithaca Squares Off With Cortland in 61st Cortaca Jug Game at MetLife Stadium Saturday ITHACA, N.Y. – The 61st Cortaca Jug Game on Saturday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. will set the all-time attendance record for a NCAA Division III contest. Ithaca and Cortland are set to kickoff at 1 p.m. in “The Biggest Little Game in the Nation” in front of more than 45,000 fans, as announced by Director of Athletics Susan Bassett ’79 at Wednesday’s press conference.
November 8, 2019 No. 17/19 Ithaca Looks to Get Back on Track Saturday at RPI ITHACA, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 17/19 Ithaca College football team will conclude its Liberty League schedule on Saturday as the Bombers travel to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for a 12 p.m. kickoff at East Campus Stadium in Troy, N.Y. Ithaca, which is 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the Liberty League, will look to get back into the win column after last week’s setback to Union. RPI is 5-3 overall and 2-2 in league play.
November 2, 2019 Turnovers costly for No. 8 Ithaca in loss to No. 25 Union The nationally ranked No. 8 Ithaca College football team saw its unbeaten season come to an end on Saturday as the Bombers fell to No. 25 Union College, 31-21, at Butterfield Stadium. Ithaca is now 7-1 on the season, while Union improves to 8-0 and claims the Liberty League championship, which comes with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
October 31, 2019 Liberty League Title on the Line Saturday as No. 8/7 Ithaca Hosts No. 25/24 Union ITHACA, N.Y. – The Liberty League will crown a regular season champion on Saturday afternoon at Butterfield Stadium as the No. 8/7 Ithaca College football team hosts No. 25/24 Union at 1 p.m. in a battle of unbeatens, as both teams are 7-0 on the season and 4-0 in league play. The winner of Saturday’s contest will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship. Ithaca will also honor its senior class during halftime.
October 26, 2019 No. 8/7 Ithaca Posts Second Straight Shutout in 59-0 Win at Rochester ROCHESTER, N.Y. – For the first time since 1984, the nationally ranked No. 8/7 Ithaca College football team secured back-to-back shutout victories as the Bombers defeated the University of Rochester, 59-0, on Saturday at Fauver Stadium. The 1984 Bombers notched shutout wins of 82-0 over Fitchburg State and 37-0 against Alfred. Ithaca is now 7-0 on the season and 4-0 in the Liberty League.
