Defiance Announces Football Webcast Schedule

DEFIANCE, Ohio - Defiance College and the Yellow Jacket Sports Network have announced plans to provide a free online webcast of seven contests throughout the 2012 football season. All five home games, along with road dates at Adrian and Bluffton will be broadcast live and archived for later viewing.

The webcast schedule will allow fans of the Purple and Gold to catch all of the action on the gridiron over the first four weeks of the season, covering Defiance's games against Albion (Sep. 1), Adrian (Sep. 8), Rose-Hulman (Sep. 15) and Anderson (Sep 22.). The Yellow Jacket Sports Network coverage will then return for home dates against Mount St. Joseph (Oct. 13) and Franklin (Oct. 27), before airing DC's regular season finale at Bluffton on November 10.

Along will the seven live webcasts, the Yellow Jacket Sports Network will also be airing the weekly Brian Sheehan Show on the Thursday or Friday prior to each regular season contest. Those interviews will also be available to watch at later dates as part of the archived footage.

The webcasts will also be made available as television replays through the Defiance and Bryan markets, airing Monday and Thursday evenings at 9:00 pm. The games will be replayed in the Defiance area on Time Warner Cable's DCTV5 and in the Bryan area on Bryan City Cable's BMU3.
