PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Carnegie Mellon University football team will welcome the Lords of Kenyon College to Pittsburgh, Saturday, September 25.  Kick is slated for 12:00 p.m. on the turf of Gesling Stadium.

When the two teams meet Saturday on the gridiron, it will mark the fifth time the schools will face each other.  The series is tied 2-2 after the Tartans have been victorious the past two seasons, winning 23-12 in Pittsburgh in 2008 and 17-14 in Gambier, Ohio last season. The two teams first met in 1911 with Kenyon claiming a 6-0 victory over Carnegie Tech and then the Lords claimed a 39-19 victory in 1971 to take a 2-0 edge in the series.

The Tartans will enter the contest with a record of 1-2 and are coming off a 35-21 setback to Hobart College this past Saturday.  Kenyon was idle last week after dropping a 21-13 decision to Hiram College, September 11.
