October 5, 2019 Carnegie Mellon DropsDouble Overtime Heartbreaker at Grove City The Carnegie Mellon University football team traveled to Grove City, Pennsylvania, on Saturday and fell in double overtime to the Wolverines of Gove City College 29-26 in Presidents’ Athletic Conference play. Carnegie Mellon is 4-1 overall and 3-1 in PAC play while Grove City moves to 3-2 and 2-2.
September 28, 2019 Roundup: Bouncing back; staying on track WPI, Carnegie Mellon, Mass-Dartmouth and others all improved to 4-0, while Trinity (Texas) bounced back from a pair of losses to Top 10 teams and Misericordia won in quadruple overtime in Saturday's Division III football action.
September 28, 2019 Dayhuff and Hughes Connect for Four Scores as Carnegie Mellon Wins 49-14 at Saint Vincent The Carnegie Mellon University football team continued Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Saturday in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, against the Bearcats of Saint Vincent College. The Tartans left Chuck Noll Filed with a 49-14 victory to remain undefeated at 4-0 and 3-0 in PAC play. Saint Vincent moves to 0-3 and 0-2.
September 21, 2019 Top 25: It's a SCIAC sweep out west Chapman took down No. 10 Whitworth and Redlands knocked off No. 11 Linfield in a huge night for SoCal Division III football. It capped a big day in which W&J and Centre lost and Muhlenberg, North Central and Wheaton won matchups with other ranked teams. More in the Top 25 roundup.
September 21, 2019 Carnegie Mellon upsets No. 12 W&J, 20-13, in PAC showdown The Carnegie Mellon University football team opened its home slate hosting 12th-ranked Washington and Jefferson on Saturday in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) showdown and defeated the Presidents 20-13. The win marks the highest ever over a ranked opponent for the Tartans since D3football.com started a Top 25 poll in 2003. Carnegie Mellon is 3-0 and 2-0 in PAC play while W&J moves to 2-1, 1-1. The win marked the Tartans third straight to open their home schedule.
