Offense

QB Brian Baca, So., East Texas Baptist

Baca rolled in his first career start throwing for two East Texas Baptist single game records, rolling up 659 yards and seven touchdowns in a 68-35 win vs. Louisiana College. He went 36-for-56 with one interception and led four one-play drives with touchdown passes of 17, 25, 83 and 72 yards.

OL Tim Christensen, Brennan Fleming, Nick Bainter, Jeremy Lipsky, Christopher Hayden, Springfield

The Pride's rushing attack, which entered the game as the most potent in all of college football, churned out 625 yards, averaging 9.6 yards per carry, en route to 27 of Springfield's 29 first downs. Springfield had 674 yards of total offense in the 68-20 win over Catholic, 457 of which came in the first half.

RB Dezmon Eddie
So., Lakeland

Eddie rushed for a career-high 235 yards on just 18 carries, including 191 yards in the first half in Lakeland's 48-0 win at Wisconsin Lutheran. He scored on touchdown runs of 35 and 83 yards, and also added a receiving touchdown.

RB LeAnthony Reasnover
Jr., Eureka

Reasnover set career highs with 42 rushes and 274 yards in a 37-20 win at previously unbeaten MacMurray, the highest total for Eureka since 1985. Reasnover scored three touchdowns in the victory.

WR Mason Kinsey
So., Berry

Kinsey caught 10 passes for 228 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Vikings to a 37-22 win at Millsaps. He tied the program record for receptions and set the mark for yards and TDs.

WR Cody Estep
Jr., Centre

Estep caught a career-high 10 passes for 214 yards and three touchdowns as Centre held on to defeat Rhodes 42-21. He scored the Colonels' first three TDs, all in a back-and-forth first half, and also blocked a field goal attempt.

WR Grayson Roberts
Jr., Mount St. Joseph

Roberts caught six passes for 164 yards and four touchdowns from quarterback Chaiten Tomlin's record-tying nine-touchdown day in a 71-27 win at Anderson.

Defense

DE Robert Alvarez
So., Wooster

Alvarez had a career-high 11 tackles and broke Wooster's single-game sack record with four and a half during a 58-25 win vs. Hiram. Alvarez added a fumble recovery in the fourth quarter that set up Wooster on Hiram's 9-yard line.

DT Jarrod Russ
So., Guilford

Russ made five tackles, including a game-high 1.5 sacks, in Guilford's win vs. ODAC leader Shenandoah. He had a hand in forcing D-III passing leader Hayden Bauserman into four INTs and season-lows in passing yards and TDs.

DE Caleb Dalzell
Jr., George Fox

Dalzell recorded 13 tackles, 10 solo, in a defensive battle that ended as a 12-6 loss at No. 7 Linfield. He also had seven and a half tackles for loss, a Division III season high, and two and a half sacks.

 

LB Le'Devin Smith
Sr., Dubuque

Smith had 16 tackles, eight solo, and two pass breakups. The Spartans' defense caused six turnovers in 28-27 win over Simpson.

LB Nick Thomas
Jr., Muskingum

Thomas helped lead the Muskie defense against the Polar Bears by racking up a career-best 12 tackles, five solo. He also recovered two fumbles, had an interception and one pass breakup in a 7-6 loss to ONU.

LB Derrick Jennings Jr.
Jr., UW-Oshkosh

Jennings Jr. collected two interceptions and six tackles, including half of a sack, during UW-Oshkosh's 42-28 victory at UW-La Crosse. His first interception of the contest near midfield maintained UW-Oshkosh's 7-0 lead while his second takeaway came on UW-La Crosse's.

 

CB Matthew Byers
Jr., Birmingham-Southern

Byers had a season-high 14 tackles, 12 solo, including a tackle loss. He also grabbed an interception and knocked down two passes, as well as blocking the field goal that led to a 75-yard touchdown in a 31-24 win at Austin College.

S Dedrick Strambler
So., Hardin-Simmons

Strambler preserved a 33-30 win at Texas Lutheran as the Bulldogs were driving for a potential game-tying or winning drive with an interception with 1:27 to play. He had nine tackles, five solo, in the game.

S Matt Arita
Jr., Brockport

In his first game as a starter, Arita played a huge role in a 45-0 shutout of Hartwick. He recorded seven tackles (six solo), including a tackle for a loss. He also had a key interception late in the third quarter to preserve the shutout.

S Travis McMillion
Sr., Pacific Lutheran

McMillion finished with two interceptions, running one back for a touchdown, along with five tackles in a victory over Willamette. He nearly netting two touchdowns with the second one called back on a penalty. Also had five tackles as the Lutes kept the Bearcats off the scoreboard for the first three quarters.

CB Riley Larson
So., Loras

Larson recorded 16 tackles, 15 of them solo, in the Duhawks' 44-38 win vs. Coe. He had two pass breakups, including one in the end zone on the final play of the game, keeping the Kohawks from being able to tie the game.

Special teams

K Willy Warne, So.
Linfield

Warne scored all 12 points for the Wildcats in a 12-6 win over No. 19 George Fox. Warne connected on field goal tries of 43, 35, 32 and 20 yards where he did not miss a kick in horrible weather conditions in McMinnville, Ore.

P Bryant Walker, Fr.
Oberlin

Walker was instrumental in flipping the field in the Yeomen's tight loss to Wabash as he averaged 52.9 yards per punt, totaling 423 yards on eight attempts. Walker placed three of his eight punts inside the 5-yard line and had five inside the 20-yard line. He had punts of 65 and 70 yards.

RET Raymond Goodman III, Fr.
Bridgewater

Goodman becomes the 84th player in the history of NCAA Division III football with a 100-yard kickoff return and was the first player this season to do so. His return came with time expired in the first quarter, giving Bridgewater the lead for good in a game it won 31-23.

ST D'Monte Woody, So.
Cortland

Woody returned a blocked field goal 83 yards for a touchdown on the final play of the third quarter during Cortland's 34-20 win at Morrisville State. His return (off a block by Travis Alvarez) gave Cortland a 27-13 lead.
