Offense

QB Miles Thompson, So., Hendrix

Thompson finished 29-of-37 for 497 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions, tying Seth Peters' Hendrix school record for touchdowns in a game with seven. He also added 25 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 70-42 win vs. Rhodes.

OL Timothy Ivery, Jake Vanderveen, Zach Smith, Justin Fairfield, Matt Reitsma, Hope

Hope gained a season-high 460 yards on the ground in a win vs. Albion. The offensive line sprung three different ballcarriers for 100-yard games: Chris Leigh (175), Mason Opple (140), and Brandan Campbell (124).

RB Devauntay Ellis
Sr., Delaware Valley

Ellis played just 39 minutes, but notched the fifth-highest, single-game rushing total in school history (231 yards, 19 carries) while his five scores is second on the single-game list. He had the first five scores of the game, including three of 20 or more yards, in the 51-7 win vs. Misericordia.

RB Shaka Taylor
Jr., Nebraska Wesleyan

Taylor amassed 364 yards of all-purpose yardage in NWU's win vs. Simpson. He rushed 30 times for 230 yards with a TD and caught nine passes for 134 yards with two TDs to help NWU set a school record with 608 yards of total offense. Taylor had a career-long 78 yard TD run and went over 1,000 yards for the season having played in only eight games.

WR Jerron McGaw
Jr., Adrian

McGaw had career bests of 10 catches and 216 yards with two touchdowns in Adrian's 33-22 win at Olivet, knocking the Comets out of the MIAA title hunt. He hauled in a 73-yard catch-and-run from senior Clayton Uecker with six minutes and 28 seconds left in the first quarter to start the scoring.

WR Ian Robertson
Jr., Kenyon

Robertson's total of 243 receiving yards was the second-best, single-game total in Kenyon history. It came on seven catches, and he scored three touchdowns in a 37-32 loss to DePauw.

WR Samuel Staehling
So., St. Norbert

Staehling, playing in just the first half of St. Norbert's 47-7 win over Beloit, had three catches, all for touchdowns, for a total of 184 yards. He has a school record 17 touchdowns on the season.

Defense

DE Thomas Lesniewski
Jr., Monmouth

Lesniewski had his best game of the season as the Scots ran their win streak over Knox to 19 straight games. He recorded eight tackles, five solo, with a pair of sacks, 4.5 tackles for loss and three pass breakups.

DT Patrick O'Connell
So., Wheaton

O'Connell had six tackles, four of them solo, including four tackles for loss. He had a solo sack of 11 yards in the second quarter that set up third and long and knocked Augustana out of Wheaton territory.

DE Omar Mahmoud
Sr., William Paterson

Mahmoud recorded a career-high 24 stops vs. Southern Virginia. That included 13 solo tackles and four and a half tackles for loss in a 16-6 loss.

 

LB Dylan Andrew
Sr., St. Thomas

Andrew was in on seven tackles -- all of them for losses, totaling 19 yards in the Tommies' 58-7 win vs. Gustavus. He had two sacks for 14 yards and added five assisted tackles all for losses. He helped the Toms hold Gustavus to 3 passing yards and minus-2 rushing yards.

LB Kyle Richard
Jr., Cortland

Richard made a career-high 15 tackles, 12 solo, and recovered a fumble in Cortland's 24-23 win vs. Utica that clinched a berth into the New York State Bowl for the Red Dragons. He registered a key sack on third down and less than 1:20 remaining to help thwart Utica's final drive and preserve the win.

LB Dejon Brooks
Jr., Averett

Brooks led the team with 13 tackles, including six solo. Three and a half were tackles for loss, with three sacks. He also had an interception as Brevard was limited to minus-31 rushing yards and only 125 total offensive yards.

 

CB Jordan Powell
Jr., Widener

Powell had two interceptions, a fumble recovery, and scored his Division III-leading fifth defensive touchdown of the year as Widener defeated King's. It was his second fumble recovery and return for a score this season to go along with three pick sixes on the year.

S Luke Winnen
Sr., UW-La Crosse

Winnen recorded seven tackles, including six unassisted, one interception, one forced fumble and one pass breakup in a 21-7 win vs. UW-Stout. His 13-yard interception return for a touchdown gave the Eagles a 14-7 lead with 13:23 remaining in the game.

S Jake O'Connell
Sr., Brockport

O'Connell recorded seven tackles (six solo) in a 35-25 win vs. Alfred, helping clinch the Empire 8. The senior also scored his second defensive touchdown of the year, picking off the Saxon quarterback and returning it 15 yards to the house, stifling any Alfred momentum.

S Ryan Zinkula
Jr., Denison

Zinkula intercepted Wooster's quarterback twice. He also posted eight tackles (five solo) and one pass break-up in a 36-26 win. Wooster's quarterback had thrown just one interception entering the game. Both of Zinkula's picks came in the pivotal fourth quarter which sparked 20 unanswered points for the Big Red.

CB Marquez Walls
So., Dean

Walls was the star of the Bulldogs defense in a 17-14 loss to Maritime. Walls had three interceptions, seven tackles and a pair of spectacular pass breakups. He also returned a punt 73 yards for a touchdown.

Special teams

K Cole Westberry, So.
Averett

Westberry was perfect on seven kicks, connecting on two field goals and all five extra points in a 41-17 win vs. Brevard. Westberry's field goals were from 43 and 48 yards.

P Tyler Bryant, Jr.
Central

Bryant punted three times, averaging 53.7 yards per attempt and putting two inside the Luther 20-yard line in a 23-21 win. A 65-yard punt late in the first half forced Luther to start at its 16 and left the Norse with a long field goal attempt, which was blocked.

RET Adam Martinez, Fr.
Rhodes

Martinez returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown as part of a day with three returns and 145 yards in a 70-42 loss to Hendrix.

ST Kyle Martz, Fr.
Willamette

Martz blocked two punts during Willamette's game against Pacific. His first block was after Willamette stopped the Boxers on three plays following the opening kickoff and led to a Bearcat touchdown. He also made two tackles on special teams, a solo tackle that limited a kickoff return to 17 yards and an assisted tackle that resulted in a punt return of minus-3 yards.
