Offense
QB Roy Hampton, Sr., Trinity (Texas)
Hampton went 15-for-18 for 362 yards and five touchdowns while running for 70 more yards and another score in Trinity's 52-24 lashing of Centre. It was the third time this season that Hampton has had five or more TD passes in one game.
OL J.D. Sheldon; Matt Kelly; Bob Paulin; Tony Manual & Brian McIntyre, Augustana
Augustana defeated No. 9 Millikin 21-17 and the line helped pave the way for the Vikings to gain 349 yards against a Big Blue team that had been among the nation's leaders in rushing defense, giving up an average of just 57.2 per game. Augustana leads Division III in rushing with an average of 421.1 per game.
RB Shearrod Duncan, Sr., Ursinus
Duncan followed up last week's 280-yard performance with 254 yards on 38 carries in a 53-14 win against Wooster. With rushing scores of 59, 5, and 66 yards, Duncan became Ursinus' all-time leader in career rushing touchdowns. His 343 all-purpose yards were the second-highest in school history.
RB Tim Deasey, Sr., Lycoming
Deasey's 186 yards rushing (on 26 carries) came against an Albright defense that had been allowing just 81.8 yards rushing per game. Deasey also scored one touchdown in the No. 19 Warriors' 21-10 victory.
WR Jace Metzner, So., Ohio Northern
Metzner set school records with 12 receptions for 310 yards and scored on touchdown catches of 83, 40, 32, 42 yards. He broke ONU single-game receiving yardage record by halftime of a 59-19 win against John Carroll.
WR Luis Uresti, Jr., Sul Ross State
For the second time in three weeks, Uresti set a new school record for longest pass reception. Uresti got a pass from Scott Kello for 98 yards in a 41-30 loss to Hardin-Simmons U. Two weeks ago, the same duo connected on a 91-yard TD against Howard Payne. Uresti ended up with seven catches for 208 yards and two scores.
TE Ryan Short, Jr., Wabash
Short's three touchdowns (on nine catches for 119 yards) moved him into second place on the all-time Wabash career touchdown reception list with 23. Short accounted for 18 points in a 56-7 win against Hiram.
Defense
DL Jordan Strunk, So., Rose-Hulman
Jordan recorded nine tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, one blocked field goal and one quarterback hurry in Rose-Hulman's 28-27 overtime win against Case Western Reserve, the first overtime game in school history. Strunk's blocked field goal in the third quarter kept the margin of deficit at eight points, allowing Rose-Hulman to score and force overtime.
DL Duane Sherry, Jr., Menlo
Sherry had just two tackles, but broke up a pass, intercepted another, and blocked two field goals and an extra-point attempt in a 29-26 win against Cal Lutheran.
DL Greg Liggens, Jr., Wilmington
Liggens registered five total tackles (four solo), including three tackles for loss, all sacks, in a 42-0 blanking of Heidelberg.
LB John Muder, Jr., Louisiana College
Muder had 12 total tackles (six solo), including two for loss and a sack in the second-year program's 31-20 win against Austin. He also recorded six quarterback hurries.
LB Chris Speck, Sr., RPI
Speck made four total tackles, two for loss, but broke up seven passes and intercepted two more in a 62-47 win against Hartwick.
LB Charles McCauley, Jr., Sewanee
McCauley recorded 12 total tackles (10 solo) and three for loss in a 28-24 loss to Washington & Lee.
LB Ryan Rupprecht, Sr., Lycoming
Rupprecht notched 12 tackles, 10 solo, including one for loss and a pass broken up in a 21-10 win against Albright. Lycoming held the Lions to 50 yards on 29 carries.
DB Mike Potter, So., Buffalo State
Potter tied a school record with three interceptions in a 38-27 loss against No. 7 Montclair State. He had 68 return yards on the three picks, including a 26-yard run for his first career touchdown. He also recorded four solo tackles and had two assists.
DB Seth Berghoff, Jr., Pacific Lutheran
Notched five total tackles and returned interceptions 47 and 40 yards for touchdowns in PLU's 48-38 win against Southern Oregon, previously unbeaten and ranked No. 4 in NAIA national poll. He also broke up three other passes.
DB Kenny Brunette, So., Trinity (Texas)
Brunette intercepted three passes, returning them for 50 yards, in a 52-24 win against Centre. He added a pass breakup and had four tackles, three solo.
DB Jimmy Nalls, Sr., Catholic
Nalls recorded 10 total tackles (six solo), including five for loss in a 27-25 loss to Hampden-Sydney. He also broke up a pass.
Special teams
RET Jabori Jackson, East Texas Baptist
Jackson accounted for 377 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns in a 38-24 win against Texas Lutheran. Jackson returned three kickoffs for 190 yards and two touchdowns (83 yards, 82 yards) while also making four receptions for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Each touchdown gave the Tigers the lead.
K Steve Willever, Fr., Oberlin
Willever went 6-for-6 in extra points in a 53-22 win against Kenyon, while adding a 36-yard field goal.
P Mark Rowand, Sr., Franklin & Marshall
Rowand punted 10 times for 454 yards in a 54-0 loss to No. 13 Western Maryland. Also a starting offensive lineman, Rowand's next punt will give him the school season punt yardage record.
