Offense

QB Tom Stetzer, So, UW-Platteville
Stetzer broke the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference record for completions, going 41-for-63 passing for 428 yards and a touchdown with only one interception in a 36-29 win against UW-La Crosse. Stetzer ran for a touchdown and also threw the game-winning pass, a 54-yard bomb to Matt Kent, with six minutes remaining.

OL Kevin Bradley (So.), Brian Rissmiller (So.), Chris Curnan (Jr.), Emil Loiseau (So.), James Coughlin (So.), Cortland State
In its 38-14 win vs. New Jersey City, Cortland gained 552 yards of total offense (193 rushing, 359 passing), its highest total since Opening Day of 1998 (41-13 win vs. St. Lawrence). The Red Dragons averaged 7.0 yards per play and recorded 30 first downs.

RB Greg Siebers, So., UW-Platteville
Siebers tied UW-Platteville's single-game record with 17 receptions out of the backfield and added his first career 100-yard rushing day in the 36-29 win against UW-La Crosse.

RB Jason Desotell, Jr., Adrian
Desotell carried the ball 37 times for 255 yards to break the Adrian single-game rushing record of 236 yards set by Kennie Taylor in 1982 (against Kalamazoo). He only had one rush for negative yardage, and that came when he was stopped for a 1-yard loss in the second quarter. Desotell averaged 6.9 yards per carry and propelled the offense to its highest point total of the 2001 season.

WR Nate Leach, Jr., Juniata
Leach helped Juniata to its greatest come-from-behind victory in the history of the program during its 39-35 win at home against Moravian. Juniata was down, 35-6, with 3:50 left in the third quarter before tallying 33 unanswered points. A 23-yard touchdown reception by Leach with 39 seconds remaining in regulation completed the come-from-behind effort. Leach caught a career-best 13 passes for a personal-high 206 yards and hauled in scoring strikes of 31 yards and 23 yards on the day.

WR Jacob Respondek, Jr., Trinity (Texas)
Respondek led all players with nine catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns in Trinity's 28-3 win against Washington University.

WR Joel Olson, Jr., Bethel 
Olson caught eight passes for a career-high 200 yards and a touchdown, while also completing a pass for 26 yards.

Defense

DL Quincy Malloy, Sr., Methodist
Malloy recorded 11 tackles (six solo) including six behind the line of scrimmage and four sacks. He also added one pass breakup. The six tackles for loss give him 23, breaking the MC single-season record of 18 he set last season.

DL Chad Sload, Sr., Albright
Sload helped Albright hold Lebanon Valley to minus-55 yards rushing in a 16-0 win. He had 2½ sacks and six tackles for loss.

DL Greg Boucher, Sr., Western Connecticut
Boucher collected 14 total tackles, 10 solo, a tackle for loss of 3 yards, a recovered fumble and one pass breakup in Western Connecticut’s 13-7 win against Springfield.

LB Chris Newton, Sr., Worcester Polytech
Newton had quite a night in leading WPI to a 16-11 victory against Norwich. Newton had 14 tackles overall, including 13 solo, plus one pass breakup, one quarterback hurry, two tackles for loss of 22 yards and one sack.

LB Josh Stanton, Jr., Wabash
Stanton had 10 tackles, including five solo stops. He had three and a half sacks totaling 35 yards in a nine-sack performance by the Little Giant defense and forced two fumbles that led to Wabash touchdowns in a 35-7 win against Wooster.

LB Shannon Maynard, So., Rowan
Maynard forced a fumble and recovered two more, returning one 28 yards for a touchdown in the Profs' 63-14 win against Buffalo State. He had 10 tackles, three for loss and two sacks.

LB Jeff Bahl, Sr., Washington & Lee
Bahl had 10 tackles, two sacks, a pass broken up and forced a fumble in an 18-12 win against Catholic. He forced the fumble on a return on Catholic's 5-yard line, leading to an easy Generals' score.

DB Ryan Nohe, So., Bethany
Nohe recorded seven tackles and returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown that sealed the Bisons' 24-0 victory against Westminster (Pa.).

DB Jay Hutchins, Sr., Amhert
Hutchins had 12 total tackles and forced a turnover in the Jeffs' 7-3 win against Middlebury.

DB Jimmy Nalls, Sr., Catholic
Nalls posted 11 total tackles, 10 solo, in an 18-12 loss to Washington & Lee. He also posted a tackle for loss and half a sack.

DB M.J. Ballinger, Jr., Lewis & Clark
Ballinger recorded four total tackles and intercepted two passes in a 24-20 win against Puget Sound. His game-winning interception in the end zone with nine seconds left stopped the Loggers' final drive.

Special teams

K Drew McMaster, So., Howard Payne
McMaster was perfect on five extra points and two field goals, improving his season totals to 23-for-23 and 6-for-6 in a 41-14 win against Sul Ross State.

P David Aird, Fr., Austin
Aird punted 10 times in a 33-8 win against East Texas Baptist, but only two were returned, for a total of 6 yards. Three were downed inside the 20. Aird also ran for 77 yards and a touchdown on offense, and made a touchdown-saving tackle on a fumble return.

ST Trae Hille, Fr., Newport News Apprentice
Hille blocked three kicks, returning one for a touchdown in Apprentice School's 16-7 win against Gallaudet.

RET Ricky Lannetti, So., Lycoming
Lannetti returned consecutive punts for touchdowns in Lycoming's 47-0 shutout of FDU-Madison. His first return covered 61 yards and his second was for 69 yards.
