Offense

QB Adam Ryan, Wilmington
Ryan was 24-for-34 for 465 yards in Wilmington's 55-6 win against Franklin. The sophomore threw for four touchdowns and ran for another to improve his touchdowns-to-interceptions ratio to 20-to-3.

OL Anthony DeSantis, Randy Hayes, Todd Werley, Dave Wonderlick, Randy Zook, Susquehanna
The veteran line (DeSantis and Werley are seniors, the rest juniors) dominated a Juniata defense which ranked 11th in NCAA Division III rushing defense (61.8 yards per game) as the Crusaders rushed for a season-high 285 yards and held the ball for 37:28 in the game. The line did not allow a sack of freshman quarterback Mike Bowman, who made his first collegiate start.

RB Mike Stout, Waynesburg
The senior ran for 178 yards on 11 carries, scored on a 40-yard reception and threw a 24-yard touchdown pass, all in the first half as Waynesburg defeated Thiel 40-7.

RB Jim Smith, Lake Forest
The rookie carried 14 times for 87 yards, but caught five balls for 136 yards and added 59 yards in kickoff returns in a 43-36 loss to Ripon.

RB Myron Dent, Salisbury State
Dent gained 245 yards on 32 carries and scored two touchdowns in Salisbury's 31-27 win against Chowan.

WR Chad Hustead, Redlands
Hustead had another outstanding game for the Bulldogs, catching 11 balls for 214 yards and scoring three consecutive touchdowns in a 48-45 win against Chapman. He has a team-leading 43 receptions and 12 touchdowns on the season.

WR Ashby Hibbs, UW-Whitewater
Hibbs set a school record for most receiving yards in a game with 249 yards on 10 catches as the Warhawks beat UW-Oshkosh 53-20. Hibbs also tied the school record with four touchdown catches in a game as the Warhawks scored 47 unanswered points to overcome a 20-6 deficit.

WR Sean Eaton, Randolph-Macon
Eaton caught eight balls for 182 yards and three touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets in their 35-26 loss to Catholic.

Defense

DL Byron Blackwell, Millsaps
Blackwell had a career day for the Majors in their two-point loss (24-22) at Centre. Blackwell, who has been a three-time All-SCAC performer on the offensive line, collected 12 tackles, including an incredible seven for loss, had one sack and recorded a safety which brought the Majors within a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.

DL Barry Spiering, Linfield
Led the Linfield defense that held Whitworth to 141 yards of offense, less than one-third of its previous per-game offensive output. The senior had six total tackles, two for loss plus one sack while recovering two fumbles.

DL Rick Meyer, Bethel
Meyer led the Bethel defense in their 24-20 win against No. 5 St. John's, recording a season-high eight tackles (seven solo), 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks for 16 yards. He was a constant presence in the St. John's backfield and was a significant factor in limiting them to 15-for-37 passing.

DL Arlen Wiley, Chicago
Deflected a pass which led to a teammate's 6-yard interception return for the game's only touchdown. Helped Chicago limit Bethany to just 150 yards with six totals tackles and two sacks.

LB Jeff Divjak, Lawrence
Just another day at the office for the freshman, with 26 tackles (15 solo) and a caused fumble.

LB Brian Hee, Catholic
The senior recorded eight tackles and returned an interception 27 yards to set up Catholic go-ahead score in a 35-26 win against Randolph-Macon. He added a tackle for loss, a sack and one reception for 17 yards on a fake punt.

LB Eric Gerwin, Kalamazoo
The senior notched 10 total tackles (nine solo), with four tackles for loss and two sacks in a 25-20 win against MacMurray.

DB Mike Fowler, Ohio Wesleyan
The senior led the Battling Bishops with 11 tackles (seven solo), including a sack, and broke up three passes in Ohio Wesleyan's 21-7 win against Kenyon.

DB Tony Cassinerio, Willamette
Returned an interception 35 yards to set up the winning touchdown in a 29-20 upset of No. 14 Pacific Lutheran.

DB Dan Jones, Wilmington
The junior blocked a field goal to go with two recovered fumbles and five total tackles.

DB John Peays, Wheaton
Peays blocked a field goal attempt that led to a 70-yard touchdown return that gave Wheaton a 7-0 lead in their 30-14 win against Carthage. He also had a 15-yard pass recpetion on a fake punt to continue a Wheaton drive. Peays' first interception stalled a Carthage rally. He registered nine total tackles and two interceptions.

Special teams

K Nicholas Coursen, Cortland State
In a 73-7 win against New Jersey City, was perfect on 10 PATs and added a 32-yard field goal to set a school record for kicker points.

P Phil Barry, St. John's
Had seven punts for 375 yards (53.6 average), including a 68-yarder. The senior now has the five longest punts in school history.
