Offense

QB J.J. Sirios, Sr., Luther
Sirios rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries in Luther's 28-14 win over Dubuque, leading the Norse to their first 4-0 start since 1987. He also completed both of his passes for 97 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown strike to Trevor Joiner.

OL Matt Hochstrasser (LT), LG Tyler Howlett, C Daven Klein, RG Kendall Wilkerson, RT Andrew Rodriguez, Texas Lutheran
The Bulldogs' front five paved the way for running back Marquis Barrolle's school-record rushing day. Barrolle carried the ball 23 times for 288 yards and scored twice. TLU rushed for a total of 373 yards with four rushing TDs in the 54-27 road win over Howard Payne, more than 120 yards above its season average. The line did not allow a sack and has allowed only four through five games.

RB Nick O'Neal, Fr., Marietta
O'Neal had 42 carries for 286 yards and five touchdowns, plus two two-point conversions as Marietta defeated Wilmington 47-37. It's the most yards for a Marietta back since 2004 and gave Marietta a second win for the first time since 2011.

RB Rasheed Williams, Sr., Alfred State
Williams went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season, rushing for 313 yards and five touchdowns vs. Apprentice. He scored on runs of 69, 68, 3, 48, and 19, averaging 11.6 yards per carry.

WR Rasheed Bailey, Sr., Delaware Valley
Bailey tied and/or broke single-game school receiving records for the third time in four games. This time, he broke the yardage mark with 252 and tied the receving touchdowns mark with four for the second straight week. His scoring catches went for 11, 35, 52 and 53 yards and he had nine receptions overall in a 56-24 win vs. Albright.

WR Gunner Gilland, Sr., Buena Vista
Gilland set Buena Vista single-game records with 15 receptions and 236 receiving yards in the Beavers' 38-31 win over Simpson. He had 10 first-half receptions, while his three touchdown catches (2, 5, 26) came in the span of 4:16 in the second quarter. The last two came 15 seconds apart as the Beavers rallied for three scores in the final 1:52 of the half to turn a 21-7 deficit into a 28-21 halftime lead.

TE Shane Finnegan, So., St. Scholastica
Finnegan recorded a career-high five receptions for 110 yards and a score in the team's win over Northwestern. Three of his five receptions came in CSS' final two drives with the Saints trailing by 10. Those three receptions totaled 70 yards including one for a touchdown that brought CSS within three points.

Defense

DE Marcus Pettigrew, Jr., Westfield State
Pettigrew led Westfield's stifling defense in a 35-0 win over Plymouth State, which held the Panthers to just 28 total yards of offense. Pettigrew racked up two sacks, four tackles for losses, and seven solo stops among his 10 tackles.

DT Chyron Brown-Wallace, So., St. Lawrence
Brown-Wallace recorded career-highs in solo (six) and total tackles (nine), while adding three tackles for a loss and one and a half sacks in St. Lawrence's 31-6 win over the University of Rochester. The Rochester, N.Y. native helped the Saints knock off the Yellowjackets in Fauver Stadium for the first time since 1997.

DE Zach Bell, Sr., Millsaps
Bell racked up four and a half tackles for loss and three and a half sacks among 11 total tackles (nine solo) vs. Hendrix. He was credited with a pass breakup as well.

LB Alex Latow, Sr., Cornell
Latow led a defense that allowed just 67 yards and four first downs in the second half as the Rams rallied for a 28-27 home win over St. Norbert. Latow helped stop a St. Norbert two-point conversion run in the third quarter, proving to be the difference in the game. He recorded double-digit tackles for the third consecutive game.

LB Nick Gibson, Sr., Wittenberg
Gibson set the tone for the Tigers, as he stripped a Hiram ballcarrier on the Terriers' fifth play from scrimmage, recovered the fumble and ran 34 yards for the touchdown. After Wittenberg made it 14-0 on a fumbled punt recovered in the end zone, Gibson nearly duplicated his earlier feat, stripping a Hiram ballcarrier, recovering the fumble and returning it 10 yards, leading to a field goal. Gibson finished the game with a team-best 11 tackles in a 48-0 win.

LB Avery Richardson, So., Pacific
Richardson had a big day defensively, finishing with eight tackles (six solo) and three sacks in Pacific's 29-15 victory over Whitworth. He led a Pacific defensive unit that held Whitworth's high octane offense 160 yards below its average.

LB David Ternes, Sr., Grinnell
Ternes broke a school record with 4.5 sacks in a 29-7 victory over Lawrence. He also had a game-high 15 tackles, including 13 solos, and broke up a pass as Grinnell won for the first time this season.

CB Vincent Beltrano, Jr., Chicago
Beltrano intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter, and returned it into Rhodes territory to set up game-winning field goal with 12 seconds left in the game. He also had seven tackles, five solo.

S Yaphay Harvey, Sr., Lakeland
Harvey had two interceptions, including a 32-yard return for a TD in Muskies' 47-7 win over Wisconsin Lutheran. He also finished with two tackles for loss among his five tackles as Lakeland held WLC to 65 yards of total offense.

S Satiir Stevenson, Sr., Guilford
Stevenson recorded a school record 22 tackles (five solor) in a win over Washington and Lee and picked off a pass for the third consecutive game. He also had half a tackle for loss.

CB Ryan Anderson, Sr., Buena Vista
Anderson made seven tackles (two solo) and made two pivotal interceptions in a 38-31 win over Simpson. He wrestled the first interception out of the hands of a receiver near midfield, setting up BVU's final touchdown of the first half. Anderson later intercepted a pass in the end zone to maintain Buena Vista's 38-31 edge in the fourth quarter.

Special teams

K Tyler Kohman, Fr., Carnegie Mellon
Kohman turned in his second straight career day in a 27-24 win vs. Westminster (Pa.). Kohman connected on a 50-yard field goal setting a school-record on an untimed down to defeat the Titans. Early in the game, he booted a 20-yard field goal. He was also 3-for-3 on extra points.

P Nathan Suyematsu, Jr., Pacific
Suyematsu played a key role in limiting Whitworth's offensive production as he had four punts for an average of 41.5 yards per punt. He landed three punts inside the 20-yard line (plus one touchback) also long had punts of 61 yards and 45 yards.

ST Brandon James, Sr., Wooster
James blocked a field goal on the first drive of the second half and later in the third quarter, took the snap on a successful fake punt and went 46 yards before being pulled down inside the 5 to set up Wooster's first touchdown. He also led the defense with 12 tackles.

RET Brandon Marquardt, Sr., Bethel
Marquardt returned a kickoff for a touchdown for a second week in a row. This week's was a 96-yarder immediately after Concordia-Moorhead evened the score against Bethel, deflating any momentum the Cobbers had built.
