WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Malaki Blair and Dion Bryant accounted for all three touchdowns and over 200 yards of offense for the Lebanon Valley football team on Saturday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre. The host Monarchs of King's College used a big third quarter to defeat the Dutchmen 34-24.
LVC (4-4, 4-2 MAC) got on the board first as Braden Bohannon hit Blair over the middle for a 73-yard touchdown on the first play of their second offensive drive of the game. King's (6-1, 5-1 MAC) tied the game up on the third drive of the second quarter taking advantage of a short field following an interception. The Dutchmen responded by driving the ball 43 yards in 10 plays ending in a Bryant 1-yard run for a touchdown. Devin Crone kicked a 30-yard field goal as the time expired to give LVC a 17-7 halftime lead.
King's came out of the locker room and scored touchdowns on their first two drives of the half while forcing the Dutchmen to go three-and-out to take a 20-17 lead. They would increase the lead to 10 points on a long touchdown pass with 3:20 to go in the third. The Dutchmen cut it to a three-point game at the beginning of the fourth quarter following a 36-yard touchdown run by Bryant. The Monarchs used an 11-play, 64-yard drive ending with a one-yard touchdown run to score their final touchdown of the game setting the final score.

- Bryant had his first career 100-yard game finishing with 117 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
- Blair had 91 receiving yards on four receptions with one score.
- Rylee Stahl had seven receptions for 66 yards.
- Tanner Lewis completed 18 passes for 166 yards while Bohannon threw for 124 and a touchdown.
- Evan Kutzler intercepted his second pass of the year and returned it 17 yards.
- Jacob Horton and Erik Williams were the leading tacklers on the afternoon with each recording three solo tackles and six assisted tackles.
- The Dutchmen got into the backfield a lot with 11 quarterback hurries led by Ben Sharer with three.
- LVC moved the ball earning 25 first downs compared to 19 for the Monarchs. The Dutchmen totaled 450 yards of total offense averaging 5.5. yards per play. They also won time of possession 33:34 to 26:26.

Lebanon Valley will be on Arnold Field for the final two home games of the regular season starting next Saturday when they welcome Widener University to Annville for a 1 p.m. start.
