The Muskingum football team overwhelmed Capital in front of an electric capacity crowd in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex to win Muskingum's 100th Homecoming game on Saturday night, 37-7.

- Muskingum scored the opening 28 points of the game to take a 28-0 lead into the break.
- The Muskies scored in the first quarter on a seven-yard touchdown pass from Garrett to Roberson to cap off an impressive 17-play, 98-yard drive to take a 7-0 lead.
- Muskingum seized control of the contest in the second quarter with a 21-point outburst. Wilkinson scored on a two-yard run, Keitt hauled in a 17-yard pass from Garrett, and Edmondson caught a 26-yard strike from Garrett.
- Muskingum capped off the scoring in the fourth quarter on a Wilkinson one-yard score and freshman kicker Aaron Meyers' 36-yard field goal.
