(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Carnegie Mellon University football team will will host Grove City College on Saturday, September 29. Kick is set for 1:00 p.m. on the turf at Gesling Stadium.

Carnegie Mellon enters the contest against Grove City for the 58th time with the Tartans leading the series 36-19-2. The Tartans have squared off against the Wolverines more times than any other team except for Washington & Jefferson College. The first meeting between the two teams dates back to 1908 when Carnegie Mellon defeated Grove City by the score of 6-4. This marks the first meeting between the two teams since 2015 when the Tartans shutout the Wolverines 44-0 in Grove City. It marked the 13th shutout in the series with the Tartans holding a 7-5-1 edge. Carnegie Mellon has won six of the last seven meetings.
