MEMPHIS - Rhodes College football has reported back to campus for their first day of practice, today Aug. 9. The group has been busy with meetings, getting physicals, taking headshots and more meetings.

"We have a tremendously talented group of players here today," mentioned second-year head coach Jim Ryan. "We return a number of players who have solid experience, and our freshmen will provide depth and talent at many positions. I'm also excited to welcome 13 seniors who have demonstrated tremendous leadership throughout their careers to their last camp." 

Rhodes, who went 6-4 last year opens the season at Williamson on Sept. 2 in Salem, Oregon. They return to Memphis the following weekend, taking on Pomona-Pitzer for their home opener under the lights at 7 p.m on Sept. 9. The full schedule can be found here

The Lynx will hold a media day on Wednesday, Aug. 16. The team will be conducting an intra-squad scrimmage from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Crain Field.
