DE PERE, Wis. - St. Norbert College used a dominant first half to take control of a 33-6 Midwest Conference win over Ripon College at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (2-1, 2-0 MWC) held the Red Hawks (2-1, 1-1 MWC) to 55 yards in the first half en route to a 27-0 halftime lead. St. Norbert's victory was its 14th in the last 15 meetings with Ripon.

Midway through the second quarter, a Sawyer pass was intercepted by Frank Laterza near midfield. Two plays later, Tringali hit Boockmeier down the middle of the field for a 51-yard touchdown pass with 8:47 left before halftime.

On Ripon's next series, Sawyer was intercepted again, with Zach Klarkowski's 46-yard return to the Ripon 1-yard line leading to Tringali's 1-yard touchdown run for a 27-0 advantage.

Each team scored just one touchdown in a brisk second half, with the game lasting a quick 2 hours 21 minutes. Ripon mounted a 13-play, 73-yard drive, with Stephen Covalt finding Nathan Silloway for a 17-yard touchdown pass with 4:09 left in the third quarter.
