This itinerary starts with our easternmost Thursday night season opener, with Coast Guard at Anna Maria. Same words as last year but the matchup is at the other school this time around. The view at Anna Maria isn't as good as it is at Coast Guard but that's OK, it's Thursday night and this is a bonus game. From there it's a short trip across the state to see a local rivalry with a new coach and a trophy on the line, with Western New England at Springfield. There are a bunch of noon games on Saturday but we have to pick the only one that leaves you in position for a later game, and that's seeing Alfred State at William Paterson. From there, you're going to have to kick it into high gear to get to Danbury, Conn., to see Hartwick at Western Connecticut. (But you can do it. Even though the night game kicks off at 5 p.m., you should have time to get there.)
