September 7, 2013 Eureka Rallies to Win Lincoln Bowl Over Knox, 21-17 EUREKA, Ill. – Eureka College junior quarterback Blake Robles (East Lake, Fla./East Lake H.S./Ottawa) went 22-for-29 for 218 yards and three touchdowns in his Eureka debut, including the 9-yard game-winning strike to sophomore wideout Matt Mogged (Piper City, Ill./Tri-Point H.S.) with 6:03 left in the game, sending the Red Devils to a 21-17 victory over Knox in the second annual Lincoln Bowl, Saturday afternoon at McKinzie Field.

September 1, 2012 Eureka's Sam Durley breaks NCAA record in 62-55 win against Knox Eureka College senior quarterback Sam Durley broke an NCAA single-game record with 736 passing yards, one of six school records broken on Saturday, helping the Red Devils come from behind for a 62-55 non-conference victory over Knox in the inaugural Abraham Lincoln Bowl at the Knosher Bowl in Galesburg, Ill. Durley’s effort broke the previous single-game record of 731 yards held by Menlo’s Zamir Amin on Oct. 7, 2000.

August 24, 2012 Eureka and Knox to Play in First Annual “Lincoln Bowl” EUREKA, Ill. -- Longtime intercollegiate football rivals Eureka College and Knox College will compete in the first annual "Abraham Lincoln Bowl" when the two teams square off at the Knosher Bowl in Galesburg, Ill. on Sept. 1. The competition will recognize the shared importance of the two liberal arts colleges, each founded by abolitionists, in Abraham Lincoln’s life and in American history.
