News Releases

October 29, 2016 Chapman dominates second half in 27-12 win at Cal Lutheran Another dominant defensive effort and big days from junior Jacob Isabel and Joe Mudie led the Chapman University football team to a 27-12 road win at Cal Lutheran. The defense allowed less than 300 yards for the second game in a row and the Panthers (4-3, 3-2 SCIAC) moved above .500 for the first time this season.
October 8, 2016 Big second half boosts Chapman to big win at Whittier ORANGE, Calif. – After trailing 7-6 at halftime, the Chapman University football team scored 28 points in the second half to take a commanding 34-10 win at Whittier. Two Panther receivers went for over 100 yards and junior Ricky Bautista had 318 yards of total offense in the Panthers’ win.
September 24, 2016 Chapman holds off Trinity for home-opening 19-17 win A last second field goal sailed wide of the goal posts and the Chapman University football team held on for a 19-17 victory over visiting Trinity in Saturday's home-opener. The Panthers (1-1) picked up their first win of the season on the strength of a stingy defense and a 300-plus yard game through the air.
October 24, 2015 McKibbins breaks more records as Chapman takes down Cal Lutheran Senior Jeremiah McKibbins added more records to his already impressive resume and the Chapman University football team added a much-needed win to its record. The Panthers (2-4, 2-2 SCIAC) had a breakout kind of night with a big 49-21 win over visiting Cal Lutheran on Saturday.
October 15, 2014 Back on the field When he injured his knee during training camp last summer, it was difficult for Jeremiah McKibbins to stand by while his teammates went on to match the best season in Chapman history. But the running back is back and Chapman is looking for a postseason bid.
October 11, 2014 Homecoming shutout keeps Chapman unbeaten in SCIAC The Chapman University football team celebrated Homecoming with its first shutout in nine years, a 58-0 win over visiting Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in front of a sellout and record crowd of 5,620 at Ernie Chapman Stadium on Saturday night.
