December 20, 2016 Moore named Wilmington's head football coach Wilmington has named Bryan Moore as its new head football coach, according to Terry Rupert, vice president of athletic administration and director of athletics. He announced the appointment is effective immediately.

October 22, 2016 Beavers stuff Manchester 34-6 on record-setting day at Alumni Field Conner Sheehan’s four touchdowns pushed him to 47 career passing touchdown, breaking the previous mark of 43 set by Joel Parrett. Sheehan would also break the record for most touchdown passes in a season (18) as he has 19 with three games to play. Junior Micah Roberson broke the record for most career touchdown receptions (20) set by Andy Nowlin after his two scores gave him 21.
October 15, 2016 Bluffton downs Hanover 28-18 on Homecoming Raphael Dell hauled in five passes for 158 yards and three receiving touchdowns, giving him nine on the year. Dell is one touchdown away from tying the record for most receiving touchdowns in a season (10).
October 8, 2016 Beavers roll of 41 2nd half points in rout at Anderson After a slow start, the Beavers took control of the game in the second half as they marched their way to a 62-22 victory. It marks the most points for Bluffton since a 63-6 victory over these same Ravens in 1988!
September 24, 2016 Beavers come up just short at #20 Franklin Bluffton's 604 yards of total offense was the most since the Beavers went for 609 against Hiram in 1999. The visitors moved the chains 31 times, compared to just 20 for the Grizzlies. Both teams were 5-of-5 on red zone scoring opportunities and the Beavers finished with an eight-minute edge in time of possession (34-26). The three Bluffton turnovers proved to be the difference as Franklin needed just eight plays to turn them into 20 points.
