    Nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh scored touchdowns on its first five possessions and cruised to a 63-0 win over Lakeland University during the first round of the NCAA Division III Football Championship on Saturday at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

    Adversity came from all sides as the North Central College football team opened its 10th postseason appearance on Saturday, but the Cardinals summoned their courage, made the necessary adjustments and found a way to prevail, defeating sixth-ranked Saint John's University, 17-7, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Football Championship at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

    NEWARK, Del. – The Ithaca College football team capped off its 2017 season with a come-from-behind 27-17 victory over Salisbury University in the ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl at Delaware Stadium on Saturday evening. Ithaca used a 20-point fourth quarter to secure its fifth-straight victory and finish the year with an 8-3 record.

    SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Steven Ferreira (West Sayville/Sayville) threw four first-half touchdown passes and Devin Smith (Utica/Utica Notre Dame) scored what proved to be the winning points on a strange fumble recovery as Cortland defeated host Union College, 35-28, to win the inaugural New York Bowl.

A member of the PLU Hall of Fame, Westering has been involved with Lute athletics as a student-athlete and a coach. Westering began his tenure on the coaching staff in 1981 and has been the head coach for the last 14 seasons, compiling a record of 73-54.

Highlighting the Bulldogs' presence are four-year all-conference pick senior defensive lineman Damon Fuller (Redford/Thurston High School) and three-time All-MIAA First Team junior running back Emmanuel Stewart (St. Petersburg, Fla./Gibbs HS). This represents the most all-conference Bulldogs since the 2014 squad produced 14.
