Rimsky named to Team of the Week

More news about: Nichols

DUDLEY, Mass. – Senior captain Dylan Rimsky (Denville, N.J.) has been named to the Team of the Week.

Rimsky – who was named the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career on Sunday – established Nichols single-game records for receptions (14) and receiving yards (290) in the Bison's 28-27 overtime win against Westfield State Friday night at Vendetti Field. Rimsky hauled in a 63-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, then caught a 32-yard pass in overtime to put the Bison in front for good.

The win snapped the Bison's seven-game losing streak to Westfield State and also gave them their first win in a season opener since 2007.

Rimsky was named to the NEFC Honor Roll last October after catching eight passes for 155 yards and a touchdown at Plymouth State.

The Bison return to action on Friday when they host Western Connecticut State at Vendett Field at 7 p.m.
