Gallik, Walker, Swider named CCIW Football Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan's Rob Gallik, Augustana's Sean
Walker and Wheaton's Justin Swider were named the College Conference
of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week Monday.

School (English major), was 20-for-24 (.833 completion percentage) for
349 yards and five touchdowns in a 48-21 road win at Aurora on
Saturday. His .833 completion percentage is second only to Lon

High School (Biology major), totaled four tackles, including three
tackles for loss, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and fumble
recovery during a 20-10 home win against Mt. St. Joseph on Saturday.
The Viking defense held The Lions to just 238 yards of offense on the
day. In the second half, Mount St. Joseph had just 60 yards of total
offense and only two first downs.

Swider, a senior kick returner from Wheaton, Illinois and Wheaton
North High School (Business/Economics major), had a career-best
93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second quarter during
the Thunder's 48-27 win over Benedictine on Saturday. The return kept
Wheaton in the lead for good as Swider had two kickoffs for 127 yards
