McNeice earns All-New England selection

More news about: Salve Regina

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University senior Andrew McNeice (Franklin, Mass.) has been selected by the New England Football Writers as a member of the 2011 Division II/III All-New England football team.

As a team captain and the anchor of the offensive line, McNeice helped lead the Seahawks to their most successful season since 1998. The Seahawks ended the year by reeling-off six straight victories, including a 26-6 victory over Worcester State to capture the 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) North-West Bowl Championship; the program's first bowl victory in 13 years.

In addition to his All-New England selection, McNeice has also been named to this year's New England Football Conference (NEFC) All-Boyd Division first team, and was announced as the 2011 Boyd Division offensive lineman of the year.

McNeice will complete his degree in administration of justice this fall.
