GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Zac Naccarato threw for 293 yards and two touchdowns in Randolph-Macon College's 45-7 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) football win at Guilford College Saturday.

The Yellow Jackets (6-2, 1-2 ODAC) rolled up 504 total offensive yards to clinch the program's fifth straight winning season, a feat last accomplished in 1970. Randolph-Macon's defense forced three first-half turnovers that led to 17 points and a 31-0 Yellow Jackets' lead at halftime.

Vance Hendren scored two touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets, including the opening score on a 21-yard run. The touchdown capped a seven-play, 47-yard drive set up by Brandon Harrison's interception that ended the Quakers' first drive of the game.

The Yellow Jackets went ahead 14-0 on Drake Sanders' three-yard run that capped a 14-play, 64-yard scoring drive that used 7:21 of the first quarter. Sanders finished with a team-high 46 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Guilford (1-6, 0-3 ODAC) mounted an 11-play, 86-yard drive to the Randolph-Macon one-yard line, but the Yellow Jackets' Chris Pace recovered a critical Quakers' fumble in the end zone. The recovery set up a 31-yard Josh Storm field goal, which made it a 17-0 game early in the second quarter.

The Quakers' offense move the ball again midway through the second quarter before Randolph-Macon's Joe Pricone recovered a fumbled Guilford snap at the Yellow Jackets' 33-yard line. Five plays later, Naccarato hit Luke Sellers in stride down the sideline for a 50-yard touchdown on a third-and-14 play. Sellers finished with eight catches for 196 yards, the third-highest receiving yards total in school history.

After a quick three-and-out by the Quakers' offense, the Yellow Jackets struck again 23 seconds before halftime when Naccarato completed a 23-yard scoring toss to Hendren that made it a 31-0 game.

Thaddeus Scruggs scored on a one-yard run in the third quarter in the final series for Randolph-Macon's starters. Backup quarterback Albert Seara threw an 18-yard touchdown to reserve running back Jesse Knepp in the fourth quarter to open a 45-0 lead before Guilford's Zac Halbert threw a 34-yard touchdown to Ben King with 6:17 left in the game.

Guilford's Aaron McNeely rushed for a game- and career-high 52 yards. Halbert finished with 236 passing yards and completed a team-high seven passes to Lawrence Blake for 79 yards. King finished with five grabs for 86 yards and his team-leading fifth touchdown of the season. Rookie safety hunter English led all tacklers with 11 stops.

The Quakers host league-rival Hampden-Sydney College next Saturday (10/29) at 1:00 p.m.
