Offensive Player of the Week
Bryan Haywood, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior running back from Chocowinity, North Carolina set a new N.C. Wesleyan single-game rushing record in a 42-32 win over USA South rival Methodist. Haywood accumulated 203 yards rushing on 25 carries, good for an 8.1 yard average. He also accounted for three rushing touchdowns with his final score coming with under three minutes remaining in the game. Also Nominated: Wesley Idlette, Maryville; Tunde Ogun, Christopher Newport; Dontavious Watson, Averett; Matt Martin, Greensboro.
Defensive Player of the Week
Jerry Bates, Greensboro - The Richlands, North Carolina sophomore defensive back had four total tackles and one interception in a 26-12 win over USA South foe Maryville. Bates totaled two solo tackles and two assisted take downs in the win. He returned his second quarter interception 55 yards for what would eventually become the game-winning touchdown. Also Nominated: Brian Leary, Methodist; Logan Smyth, Averett; Kyle Chewning, Maryville; Adrin Diggs, Christopher Newport.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Zachary Richman, Averett - The Boca Raton, Florida freshman punter averaged 34.7 yards-per-kick in a 24-22 win over USA South foe Shenandoah. Richman punted six times and his long punt of the day was 44 yards.

Offensive Rookie of the Week
Antwan Thorpe, Greensboro - The freshman wide receiver from Oxford, North Carolina accumulated receiving, rushing and passing yards in a 26-12 win over USA South foe Maryville. Thorpe caught ten passes for 117 yards with one touchdown, ran the ball five times for eight yards with one touchdown and completed one pass for nine yards. The win was The Pride's first ever at Maryville. Also Nominated: John Flanagan, Methodist.
Defensive Rookie of the Week
Anthony Bowie, Averett - The Casselberry, Florida freshman defensive back had an interception and a pass break-up in a 24-22 win over USA South foe Shenandoah. Bowie's interception, which he returned 32 yards in the third quarter, led to the eventual game-winning Cougar touchdown. Also Nominated: James Wallace, N.C. Wesleyan.
