Officially, 74 yards, but really much longer

All sorts of Heidelberg players got their hands on Muskingum's Dominick Williams but none of them quite stopped him as he took this punt back 74 yards for a touchdown in a 49-21 loss. It's the D3football.com Play of the Week.

We solicit video of top plays from every Division III football program and this was our top clip.

Week 8 Play of the Week finalists

  • Western Connecticut running back Octavias McKoy had several long runs en route to his NCAA record 455-yard rushing day. His 71-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter at Worcester State made him the record-holder. Watch
  • A blocked punt and a recovery in the end zone from Titan senior Dylan Heitmeier with 44 seconds left in the game, proved to be the game-winning touchdown as Westminster (Pa.) defeated Bethany 7-6. Watch
  • Trevor Wyman somehow picked up Tyre Alexander's jump pass for a touchdown for Olivet in a 21-17 win vs. Adrian. Watch
